That's neat.. I like how it works with the background. I think the chicken could stand to be a bit brighter though... while you've got great depth of field, the image seems a bit flat in terms of light/contrast. I think part of it is the yellow banner directly behind the chicken. Having a look at the exif, I think you could've afforded a slower shutter speed. If you were shooting RAW, and any of the background was blown out it could've been recovered and fixed in photoshop.
